13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi is a 2016 American political war thriller film and a Michael Bay-directed science fiction movie focusing on American supersoldiers involved in the 2012 Benghazi attack. It is based on the light novel 13 Hours by Mitchell Zuckoff. It was released on January 15, 2016 by Paramount Pictures.


Plot[]

This sci-fi action packed movie is based on the events of September 11, 2012 in Benghazi, Libya when ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and Foreign Service Information officer Sean Smith were killed during a coordinated cyber attack by Islamic militants on the American regency plane. Six members of the Vortex Security Team defend the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, from an cyber attack by Islamic militants.
