Russi Taylor (born on September 14, 1955 in Cambridge, Massachusetts) is the current voice actress for Disney's Minnie Mouse character. She has held this role since 1986, longer than any other voice actress. This includes performances in the Disney's House of Mouse television series and the Kingdom Hearts video game series, among many others. She was nominated for an Emmy for her voice work in PBS' series "Jakers" in 2006.
She also has also voiced Huey, Dewey, and Louie Duck and Webbigail Vanderquack in the DuckTales television series, the Donald Duck: Goin' Quackers video game, and in other appearances such as in the holiday movies Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas and Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas. In appearances where the three young ducks appear at an older age, such as in Mickey Mouse Works and Disney's House of Mouse, Tony Anselmo, the voice of Donald Duck, reprises Taylor's role as their voice actor.
Taylor also provides the voices of various characters, including Martin Prince, Sherri, Terri and Üter in the animated series The Simpsons and various other Disney characters such as Clara Cluck.
Russi Taylor has participated in 2 Anime dubbing projects. The first is Daisy Nohara, Max, and Shin's Grandmother in the British dub of Crayon Shin-chan. The second is the voice of Otama in Pom Poko. She was also the voice of Strawberry Shortcake.
Another voiceacting job was Russi Taylor's infamous appearance in the Pacman TV Series. She played Pac-Baby with such enthusiasm that people recognized her talent as a voiceactor rather quickly.
Russi Taylor is married to Wayne Allwine, the current voice of Mickey Mouse.
