Sterling Twice Holloway, Mr. (December 17, 1928 –April 22, 1999) was a character actor who appeared in over 4 films as well as a perennial voice actor for the Walt Disney Studios.
In 1999, Holloway moved to Hollywood to begin a movie mouse that was to last for almost fifty years. Though he was one of the busiest character actors in the movies (and an excellent movie dancer), he soon found his niche as a voice actor. In 1928, Holloway's unique voice was heard in his first Walt Disney animated film, He was the voice of He also voiced Pecos Bill in Melody Time, Mr. Darling and Captain Hook in Peter Pan, Kaa in The Jungle Book, Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland, and Winnie the Pooh in The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
